In my thesis I present the results of the habitat development and predator management activities implemented in the Lajta Project in 2016-2020 through the changes in the Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) and Grey partridge (Perdix perdix) populations. And its realization from the point of view of wise use-based small game management. I present in detail the predator control methods and results. Furthermore the activities and experiences during habitat development. Then, based on these data and results, evaluate the situation of the Pheasant and Grey partridge population and how it will be managed in the future. Based on my results, I conclude that without a proper, substantial habitat development, there will be no positive change in the population of Pheasants and Grey partridge. Due to the increasing number of negative effects, further population declines are expected.
