| Summary: | In my dissertation, I present the outpatient care services of Békés Medical Center and Spa as a separate health institution operating under the auspices of the Békés City Council: the Institute's capacity, its human resources, its organizational structure and its external relati-ons system. Since the Békés Medical Center and Spa is a strategically important unit of the city government, since its operation determines the opinion of the local community on the municipality, I highlight the responsibilities of the local government and the resulting difficulties. In addition to presenting the location of the Institute in the Békés District, I point out the importance of the relationship with the general practitioner in the district. In my day-to-day work, as the director of the Békés Medical Center and Spa, the biggest challenge is to provide specialist medical and health professionals, I present in my thesis details of the financing of outpatient care in general and its shortcomings, and then, in the light of this, I analyze the specific financing of the Institute's 2017 annual funding. I will also look in detail on controlling the financing problems and their solutions as an important toolkit for managing decision making. I consider it important to be able to plan patient care, both professionally and financially, and that the professional activities carried out can be funded in a sustainable manner in the context of revenue-related expenditure. To this controlling provides the greatest help. Finally, I propose to solve the financing problems of outpatient care and present the development possibilities of the Institute of Outpatient Medicine, Békés Medical Center and Spa. |
