| Summary: | In this thesis, early period of hand-reared pheasant breeding was examined in particular aspect of the growth differences of chicks caused by different composition of foods. The investigations were introduced at the University of Sopron, Institute of Wildlife Management and Vertebrate Zoology, furthermore at the experimental ranches located in the Botanical Garden of University of Sopron and on the Felsőbüki Nagy Pál street. I presented random weight measurement of specimens from different hatching on daily basis. The collected data was statistically analyzed. The effects of the different contents of protein in the food were compared with several sources. Suggestions were made for more efficient foraging strategies and for further examination. |
