In my opinion collective freight has a significant role in reducing costs and shortening shipping times. Consequently, customers prefer this mode of transport to others because everyone tries to reduce their costs. It is also advantageous for carriers to concentrate on this field because they can better dispose of their own freight capacity and optimize the availability of available space by load. However, much greater organizational capacity, flexibility, and the interests of the payers have to be taken into account than for the carriage of complete cargo. You have to pay more attention to not getting into weight or other problems. I think it is important to show that the ride had to keep up with today's advanced technology, must be up to date with the new software and programs too. I want to talk about the companies provide a complex service to the principals with a number of other ways to seek the demands such as order picking, warehousing, customs operations. Gebrüder Weiss company has developed lots of packages which customers can choose from, and choose the best for them. The number of the collective transport of the company is increase by the years so it shows that the service is really good. But good can be better. Every system can be improves and corrected for example logistic systems and storage systems. In my opinion the biggest problem is the shortage of labour at the european level and it is a global problem for the companies that will be explained later. The main purpose of my dissertation is to answer those crucial points with which I can state, which shipping mode can deliver the fastest and most cost-effective way to achieve the highest customer satisfaction. In order to achieve this goal, I will use the SWOT analysis as well as my practical experience I have acquired as a subcontractor of Gebrüder Weiss. | |
